Legacy Wood Flooring case study: a woodpecker that sells floors
Legacy Wood Flooring installs luxury vinyl, laminate and wood floors for homes and businesses across Palm Beach and Broward counties. Revna developed the final logo, created the woodpecker mascot in 2D and 3D, and designed the website, print pieces and social media.

the challenge
a family businessthat needed a face.
Legacy is a family-owned flooring installer competing with large stores and many small crews. It needed a brand people remember after one look at a truck, a yard sign or a post.
The answer was a character: a woodpecker, a bird that works with wood, holding a plank inside a classic badge. We developed the logo into its final form, then drew the mascot as a full character in 2D and in 3D.
With the identity in place, we built the website with service pages and a list of every city served, and carried the same look into the business cards, yard signs and social media.

a badge with a character inside
The badge keeps the woodpecker, the LEGACY lettering and the wood-flooring line together in one shape that works on a sign, a shirt or a profile picture, with full-color, black and white and reversed versions and a teal, cream and rust palette.

The flat mascot is used on print and social, and the 3D version leads the home page of the website, thumbs up, holding a plank.

a site that names every city
The site opens with the promise, Transform Your Floors. Elevate Your Home., a free estimate button and the phone number. It has a page for each service, from vinyl and hardwood to stairs and baseboards, and lists every city the team serves, from Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach and Coral Springs to West Palm Beach.

The light wood grain and the badge carry onto both sides of the business card, the Facebook cover and a yard sign that leaves the phone number and the website on every lawn.

The feed shows finished installations, like a chevron oak floor in a carousel, with the badge on every image, plus promotional posts with the woodpecker.
