Architectural Foam Florida case study: a new name, built from the column up

A Pompano Beach manufacturer of EPS architectural foam, formerly New Foam Design, needed a brand for its new name. Revna created all of it: the logo and identity, an interactive website, the product catalog, the storefront graphics and ongoing social media.

the challenge

decades of experience,a name nobody knew yet.

The company had spent decades fabricating EPS and polyurethane mouldings for builders and homeowners as New Foam Design. When it changed its name to Architectural Foam Florida, the reputation stayed, but the brand had to start from zero.

Its buyers are contractors, architects and homeowners who need to see a profile before they order it, and many do not realize that the cornice, the brackets or the columns on a Florida facade are foam. The new brand had to look as solid as the product and make a catalog of hundreds of profiles easy to browse.

We built it around a classical column: a mark that reads as architecture at any size, navy and gold for confidence, Bebas Neue and Helvetica Neue for a clean technical voice. Then we carried it into every piece the company uses to sell.

a column for a name

The logo turns a classical column into the first letter of the brand, with a ribbon that echoes a moulding profile. The identity sets primary and one-color versions, a standalone column mark, the type pair and a five-color palette of navy, gold, steel blue, light gray and charcoal.

architecturalfoamflorida.com

We designed and built the website around one idea: look closer, the details are foam. An interactive tour takes the foam details off a Florida house as you scroll, then puts them back one at a time, from cornices and brackets to arches, columns and bases. Visitors can dress the facade themselves, follow a custom piece from drawing to installation, and jump into product pages for each profile.

03 · catalog02

the product catalog

A 23-page catalog that organizes the full line by family: shutters and louvers, arches, brackets and wall caps, mouldings, window sills, columns, caps and bases, trim, cast coral pieces, the installation steps and how a hard-coat moulding is made. Every profile is drawn as a clean technical illustration with its product code, so a contractor can specify it in one look.
